POSCO Engineering & Construction’s website (www.poscoenc.com) won the “Service Innovation Grand Prize” at the 18th Web Award Korea, hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association (KIPEA).

Web Award Korea 2021 is an awards ceremony recognizing the most outstanding and innovative web services of the year, with 691 companies competing across 74 categories.

POSCO E&C redesigned its website in November 2021, structuring content around information preferred by users after analyzing user types, and applying designs that enhance usability.

In particular, the newly introduced “Special Story” menu, the first in the domestic construction industry specialized in corporate branding, features six major themes—Corporate Citizenship, Smart Construction, Carbon Neutral Management, The Sharp, Urban Renewal, and Corporate Culture—using diverse videos and images to deliver content in an aesthetically pleasing, approachable, and user-friendly way, earning high praise.

Additionally, the website showcases various ESG management activities aligned with the “Corporate Citizenship for Mutual Growth” philosophy, highlighting POSCO E&C as a sustainable enterprise. User-type-specific customer centers were established to improve communication efficiency, and a new “Newsroom” gathers press releases and representative content from SNS channels in one place, exploring the potential for “brand journalism” and creating differentiation in web services.
