From August to September 2018, Saltcake conducted UX/UI lectures for aspiring CEOs as part of the startup education program at Galmaegi SW Entrepreneurship Academy, which nurtures SW convergence service startups. The ‘Galmaegi SW Entrepreneurship Academy,’ promoted under the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency’s Centum SW Convergence Cluster project, is a stage-based technical startup education program that supports prospective SW entrepreneurs from idea discovery to development, commercialization, and investment.

Unlike in the past, when most participants focused on application development, the aspiring CEOs in this program had a diverse range of business ideas, including smart logistics, security, and fintech. Accordingly, Saltcake’s Executive Director Youngri Kim led the SW convergence course covering SW trends, requirements, and UX/UI subjects.

Although it was a long journey between Seoul and Busan, it was a meaningful experience to contribute to a variety of practical startup support programs, allowing aspiring entrepreneurs to fully pursue their dreams.
