Youngri Kim, ECD (Executive Director) of Saltcake, a global brand marketing specialist, has been appointed as the first Korean judge for the international advertising festival, WINA (World Independent Advertising Awards). WINA is an international advertising competition that evaluates independent and multinational agencies and their works worldwide, with judges including Luis Miguel Messianu (CEO and founder of Alma DDB) and Michael Chao (Marketing Manager of Walmart China).
Kim was invited to WINA 2018 in recognition of her experience as a judge at prestigious advertising festivals, including the New York Festivals, one of the world’s top three advertising awards. She will be judging the ‘INTERACTIVE’ category, considered the most competitive among the 19 categories. Kim has managed marketing strategies for global brands such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai Motor, and Audi, and has received numerous international awards including W3, FWA, and Davey Awards. She is also actively engaged as a university professor. This appointment is particularly meaningful as it not only demonstrates the expertise of a digital-focused company but also elevates the stature of the industry as a whole.
The WINA 2018 judging will begin after the registration deadline extension closes today (the 12th), and the ‘WINA 2018 FESTIVAL’ will take place from May 31 to June 1 in Los Angeles, USA. More details can be found at http://winafestival.com.
